TIMERGLOW / PRIVACY

Privacy, in plain language

What TimerGlow stores in your browser, what a setup link contains, and the current status of analytics.

Settings saved in this browser

TimerGlow stores named setups, a recent active session and appearance preferences in browser storage. Names and durations are needed to restore what you chose. Saved setups can be deleted individually from Saved. Clearing site data in your browser removes all local TimerGlow data.

The offline cache contains the application files. It does not store a server account or a cloud copy of your routines. Browser storage is not encrypted by TimerGlow and may be accessible to someone using the same browser profile.

Analytics in this version

Google Analytics is optional. Its tag loads only after you choose Allow analytics on timerglow.com. It measures page visits and actions such as starting, pausing, completing, saving or sharing a timer. Events use fixed categories: visual mode, built-in template, duration range, step count and transition type. Names, step text, saved setups, URL queries and setup-link fragments are not included. Page titles and paths use fixed labels; only a short list of public search and AI referral origins is recognized.

If you allow analytics, Google receives technical information such as browser and device details, approximate location derived from the connection, and cookie identifiers. TimerGlow analytics cookies have the timerglow_ga prefix and expire after 180 days. Your choice is saved in this browser for up to 180 days. Use Analytics choices in the footer, then No thanks, to stop future measurement and remove these cookies. This does not delete data already received by Google or your saved timers. Event-level retention is two months. Advertising personalization, Google Signals and enhanced measurement are off; there are no advertising tags or session recordings. Declining does not affect any timer feature.

Ordinary web requests

TimerGlow is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Opening the website sends ordinary requests for its pages and files to Cloudflare, which may process connection information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the service. TimerGlow does not send your saved setups or active timer contents to a server.

There are no contact forms, payment forms or email capture features in this release. Hosting request data is separate from the settings and routines stored in your browser.
