    What is TimerGlow?

TimerGlow is a free online visual timer that shows time remaining as a glow, ring or bar. Use a single countdown for one task, or build a routine with named steps and breaks. Setups are saved in your browser, with no account required.

How to use the visual timer

    1. Choose a duration or open a ready-made template. The main timer starts with 25 minutes.
    2. Pick Glow, Ring or Bar. Choose scenery, fonts and colors, or use Plain for a simpler view.
    3. Select Start. Pause holds the remaining time; Resume continues. Fullscreen gives the timer more space, and Escape returns to the page.

Glow, Ring or Bar: which view should I choose?

All three views show the same fraction of the current step remaining. Changing the view does not restart the countdown.

ViewHow it shows timeTry it when…
GlowA luminous scale shrinks; in painted clock scenes, a light arc follows the dial. You want a soft progress cue that fits the scenery.
RingThe arc around the digits gets shorter as the step runs down. You prefer a familiar circular countdown.
BarA horizontal bar gets shorter from right to left. You want a simple progress scale for work or a shared room.

    Questions about TimerGlow

Is TimerGlow free, and do I need an account?

TimerGlow is free to use. There is no account, subscription or advertising inside a timer session. Saved setups stay in this browser; they are not backed up to an account. About TimerGlow →

Can I use the timer offline?

After the page says “Ready offline”, the timer and bundled templates can work without a connection in that browser. Keep the tab open: a sleeping device or suspended browser may not play an alert. Offline timing and alert limits →

Does a shared link synchronize two timers?

No. A setup link contains names, steps and appearance settings. Each person starts their own countdown. It does not share a live session or remotely control another device. Saving and sharing instructions →

Can I turn off animations, sound or digits?

Yes. Animate scenery controls the weather and decorative motion. Quiet details lets you hide digits or seconds and control sound. Reduced-motion and high-contrast settings take priority over decoration. Display and accessibility options →
